Kona Park Operator Bike 2014 Review

My best exercise bikes EVER! I love everything from Kona!

Kona Park Operator Bike 2014 Description

You've put in a hard work week and the last thing you want to do is go labor your bike up some never-ending hill. You'd prefer to let gravity do all the toiling, so you call up your chums, rock-paper-scissor to decide the lucky driver, load up the toys and punch it to the local park. As if the day couldn't get any better, you get to throw your leg over a Kona Park Operator and let it chauffeur for the day. Why so much stoke? That's because the Park Operator builds off the triumph of the original Operator, employing a resilient 7005 DH aluminum frame that uses the same shaping design as the 2013 Operator, which Kona Factory rider Antoine Bizet rode to an impressive second place at the 2012 Red Bull Rampage. Constructed to weather the abuse of hardcore shuttling, park riding, and downhill racing, the Park Operator is tactically designed with oversized pivot axles and bearings, a tapered headtube, and Kona's Walking Beam 4-Bar Linkage suspension that keeps the bike higher in travel and recovers from big hits more quickly. Kona has invited some of the big names in game to party with the Park Operator, including a SRAM X5 1x10 speed drivetrain, a RockShox Domain Dual Crown 200mm fork and Kage R rear shock, and Maxxis High Roller II DH 26x2.4"" tires. The nimble 26"" wheels are flickable and playful, while the Avid Code R hydraulic disc brakes will quickly and smoothly bring you to a stop.
